Irish actor Patrick Bergin is putting Emmel Castle on the market.
An 15th century Offaly Castle is going on for sale for almost €1 million.
Irish actor Patrick Bergin, who bought Emmel Castle in 1991 shortly after starring in "Sleeping with the Enemy" alongside Julia Roberts, is now putting it on the market.
The property, built by the O'Carroll clan contains a series of grand, generously proportioned rooms, several featuring exposed beams and rafters, among them is the music room.
At the summit, you can reportedly see across five counties, including Offaly, Limerick, Tipperary, Clare and Galway.
