The rich history of a Westmeath lake is being highlighted in a new series.
'The Stories Of Lough Ree', a four part series by film maker Oliver Fallen explores various aspects from its historical churches to life for residents on the island.
The films will be screened tomorrow at Athlone's Hodson Bay Hotel at 7PM.
Athlone historian Gearoid O'Brien features in the films and also contributed behind the scenes.
