RNLI, Irish Coast Guard and Water Safety Ireland are urging people to celebrate safely tomorrow.
RNLI is launching a joint water safety appeal with the Irish Coast Guard and Water Safety Ireland ahead of St Patrick's Day.
They're all urging people to stay away from edges during coastal walks, and for motorists to avoid parking too close to water in the event of rising tides.
They also advise to never mix alcohol with water based activities.
