The latest Geowox report shows the cost of a home in Ireland continues to rise.
Buying a house in the Midlands will now set you back around €290,000 on average.
The latest Geowox Housing Report for the second quarter of 2025 shows the biggest price increase is in Westmeath at almost 21% when compared to the same period last year.
The median cost of a home jumped from €260,00 to €314,000, with prices in Offaly rising by 4% to €273,000.
Laois is the only county to record a drop in median house price of almost 6% to €287,000.
The national picture shows the median house price in Ireland is now up to €370,000.
