There's been plans to relocate it to the new primary care centre in Banagher.
The HSE is being urged to clarify the future of Cloghan Health Centre.
Fianna Fáil TD Barry Cowen says he's aware of plans to relocate the facility to the Primary Care Centre in Banagher.
The centre currently caters to 88 adults and 100 children in the Cloghan, Shannonbridge and Clonmacnoise areas, five days a week.
The Laois-Offaly deputy says, while the new Primary Care Centre is welcome, it shouldn't come at the expense of other services:
