A peak in Covid and flu is expected over the Christmas.

The HSE is encouraging the public to stay healthy over the Christmas period and to know their urgent care options if needed.

They're also urging the public to top up their Covid and Flu vaccines as a peak is expected over the festive season.

Up to 900 potential cases of the flu are expected every week in hospitals up to the end of December.
