IFA Call For Stronger Farmer Supports Among Fuel Crisis

The IFA discussed a range of farmer support measures with Government from fuel support to a fodder scheme.

An investment into farmer supports is an investment into rural Ireland.

That's the message from the Irish Farmers Association after sending a list of support proposals to Government yesterday.

The farming body wants to see a range of measures from a monthly backdated farm fuels support payment to a reintroduction of the Fodder Support Scheme.
