Gardaí are investigating after a train in the midlands was vandalised with 'extensive graffti.'
The four-carriage vehicle was vandalised at the depot in Portlaoise over the weekend.
The train has been pulled out of service and work is being done to remove the graffiti.
Anyone who has any information about the incident of graffiti is asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station.
