The works will secure the water supply for homes and local businesses.
Irish Water are to carry out essential works in Westmeath next week.
Short-term water outages are scheduled from 1pm to 8pm on Monday 20th and Wednesday 22nd September in the following areas: Mullenoran, Bunbrosna, Lismacaffrey, Streete, Rathowen, Ballinalack, Multyfarham.
The works will take place to safeguard the water supply for homes and local businesses.
Irish Water will replace over 500 metres of old water mains at Mullenoran Bridge with new, high density pipes which will reduce the number of bursts and water outages.
