The restrictions are being put in place in Athlone to allow water levels in the Annagh reservoir to recover following a mechanical failure at the water treatment plant.

The restriction will begin from 10pm until 6am tomorrow morning, which will impact customers in Athlone Town, Baylin, Mount Temple, The Ories, Garrycastle, Dublin Road, Ardnaglug, Fardrum, Moydrum, Blyry, Killyon Hill, Bonavalley, Athlone and surrounds in Co. Westmeath.
