Fianna Fail's Robert Troy says a staff member published the tweet in question.
A Midlands Junior Minister is apologising for a tweet about Bloody Sunday.
The twitter account of Fianna Fail's Robert Troy published a post remembering the massacre, "80 years on".
Today he acknowledge a mistake was made, attributing the mistake to a staff member.
This Sunday marks the 100th year anniversary the day when 30 people were killed or fatally injured at a match in Croke Park.
I would like to acknowledge that we made an error yesterday in a tweet in relation to Bloody Sunday. This error was made by a staff member and we deeply regret this.
