Offaly Gardaí made arrests as part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Edenderry area on Saturday.
The Offaly Divisional Drugs Unit, the National Garda Dog Unit and Gardaí conducted coordinated searches at a number of properties.
A man in his 40s was arrested and later charged and appeared before the Tullamore District Court on Sunday 1st March 2026.
Suspected quantities of controlled drugs were seized and investigations are continuing.
During the operation, several illegal e-scooters were also seized, with some machines capable of speeds of up to 79 km/h.
Gardaí are warning that e-scooters travelling at such speeds on public roads or footpaths pose a serious danger to riders and the wider community.
