The Justice Minister says she's keen to see a Laois Courthouse moved as "quickly as possible."
The site in Portlaoise has suffered from anti-social behaviour outside the building over the past number of years, with frequent calls from businesses and politicians to have it relocated.
Land was acquired in Kylekiproe over two years ago, however there's been no progress on the development since, due to a lack of Capital funding.

Laois Chamber Alliance recently put its weight behind plans to have the building relocated, and said it's vital for retailers and the people of Portlaoise those plans are progressed.
