Fabian and Margaret O'Carroll from Abbeyleix lost their 17 year old daughter Clodagh to cancer in 2016, five months after receiving her diagnosis.
In 2019, Fabian - who's being described as a kind-hearted man and gifted welder - developed oesophageal cancer and passed away last month.
A friend and colleague of Fabian, Tony O'Donoghue, has set up an online fundraiser to offer some support to the devastated family:
