Laois County Council has been shortlisted for year's Excellence in Local Government Awards.
The council's four nominations are in the areas of Climate Change, Health and Wellbeing, Local Authority Innovation and Municipal Districts initiative.
The winners will be announced at the 22nd annual ceremony on the 27th of November at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin.
