Tributes are being paid to the Laois father and son, who passed away on Monday.
The Laois father who passed away in a crash in Turkey is being remembered as someone 'who always had a smile on his face.'
36-year-old Eoin Fitzpatrick and his 10-year-old son Dylan, who were from Portlaoise, were killed when their scooter collided with a bus in the resort of Alanya on Monday.
Arrangements are being to repratiate their bodies, and family members have rushed to Turkey to provide support to Mr. Fitzpatrick's other son Cian, who was also on the holiday but wasn't involved in the tragedy.
Chairperson of Portlaoise GAA, Eamon Fennelly, says the family has deep roots within the club:
Portlaoise says offering support is its priority, in the wake of its second tragedy in just a few months.
Mr. Fitzpatrick and his son Dylan passed away in a crash in Turkey on Monday.
One of the club's players, 15-year-old David Brown, also died in a quad-bike accident near Ballybrittas in April.
Mr. Fennelly, says clubs will always come together at a time of tragedy:
