A demonstration of solidarity with Palestine is taking place in Laois this weekend.
The Portlaoise Protest for Palestine group says it will hold a peaceful protest this Saturday at 3 o'clock, which will see them march from St. Peter and Paul's Church to Laois County Council.

They're calling on the Irish government and the international community to play their part in ending the violence between Isreal and Palestine.
