A man has appeared in court today following a robbery in Laois.
One man entered a business in Abbeyleix last Thursday and left with a sum of cash.
Investigating gardaí arrested a 32 year old man on Tuesday, and he was questioned District Detective Unit and Abbeyleix Gardaí.
Today, he was formally charged with robbery before being brought to Portlaoise District Court.
Gardaí are thanking the local community for their assistance in the investigation.
