They converted their second hand jeep into a camper.
A Laois man and his friend are completing a four month road trip from Ireland to South Africa in a 20 year old Mitsubishi Pajero.
Brendan Bergin from Cullohill and Max Lavelle from Galmoy set off on their 22,000 kilometre odyssey in January, travelling through 14 African countries after ferrying to Spain and crossing into Morocco.
They converted their second hand jeep into a camper and are documenting their journey online.
Mr Bergin says they have made memories for life on the trip:
