A circular on SNA redeployment is expected in the new few weeks after a paused review of posts.
The principal of a Laois primary school says Special Needs Assistants are deeply concerned about their future.
It comes after the Government halted a review of SNA allocations that resulted in close to 200 schools being notified of reductions to assistant positions.
A circular regarding their redeployment, considered to be a key component of the process, is expected to be issued in the coming weeks.
