The main infrastructure works under the National Broadband Plan in Laois are complete.
Laois is the latest county to reach this National Broadband Plan milestone, following recent completions across seven other counties, including Westmeath as the programme enters its final phase.
More than 13,000 premises across Laois fall within the State’s Intervention Area, where NBI is providing homes, businesses, farms and schools with minimum broadband speeds of 500 megabits per second.
