A Laois TD is raising concerns over children who lost their school bus places this year.
Willie Aird says numerous parents have contacted him after their children, who had used school buses for years, were not allocated tickets for the current school year.
Expenditure Minister Jack Chambers says school transport numbers are up from 120,000 in 2019 to 181,000 this year, while funding increased from €219 million to over €600 million.
