However, that is subject to some conditions being met within 12 months, otherwise the Wellwood Healthcare Campus will be chosen as the designated site.
Chairperson of the Offaly Hospice Foundation, Professor Humphrey O'Connor, says while he's happy there's progress, those criteria are a big ask:
