Three Wastewater Treatment Plants In The Midlands Set For Upgrades

It's part of Irish Water's Small Towns and Villages Growth Programme.

Ballymore, Ballyroan and Rhode have been selected for improvement as part of Irish Water's Small Towns and Villages Growth Programme.

The upgrades will provide additional capacity for the development of new homes, while ensuring wastewater continues to be treated to an appropriate standard.

Details of other towns and villages to be included in the programme, if any, will be announced in the coming months.
