A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after a crash in the midlands.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was in a collision involving a car Mullaghavorneen, in Longford.
He was airlifted from the scene with serious injuries to Tullamore Hospital.
The man has since been transferred to the Mater Hospital in Dublin for further treatment in intensive care.
Gardaí are asking any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, and were travelling on the road between the GAA club and Ballymacormack Cemetery between 5.30pm and 6pm on Monday evening, are asked to contact investigating Gardaí at Longford Station.
