A man charged with the murder of his father in Westmeath is due back in court today.
28-year-old Ross O'Rourke, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody for the third time when he last appeared before Mullingar District Court on December 1st.
He is charged with the murder of his father, Stefan Nivelles Posschier, who's body was discovered at his home in Rattin on October 25th.
Mr. O'Rourke has been held at Cloverhill Prison since, and is due to appear in Mullingar District Court again today.
