A cluster of cases at Ireland's biggest prison was confirmed yesterday.
Mass-testing of all staff in the biggest jail in the country will continue through the weekend, after a cluster of Covid-19 cases emerged.
11 staff in Midlands Prison in Portlaoise have tested positive.
About 500 workers will now be tested, but none of the 824 inmates have picked up the virus.
