Over €70,000 has been raised to support a Westmeath man who was seriously injured in a cycling accident.
Stephen Corroon, who's a member of the Lakeside Wheelers Cycling Club in Mullingar, fell off his bike in May and was left with a cervical spine injury.
He suffered a permanent neurological deficit and is unlikely to have use of his legs or arms again.
Mr. Corroon requires significant home adaptations, and equipment to ensure care at home.
€72,000 has been raised so far, with a final target set of €200,000.
