Massive Upsurge In Those Using Library Services In Westmeath

Public libraries reopened to the public yesterday.

There was a 133% increase in the number of people using online resources at public libraries in Westmeath last year. 

It went from just over 29,600 people in 2019 to almost 70,000 last year. 

More than 18,500 online loans were also made. 

Libraries across the midlands reopened to the public yesterday.
