Significant changes to the primary school maths curriculum are being welcomed by a midlands teacher.
Education Minister Norma Foley announced the changes to the format, which will now put an emphasis on playfulness, creativity and solving real-life problems.
It'll come into effect from next September, leaving teachers with a year to familiarise themselves with the new curriculum.
