A midlands business has seen a €90,000 increase in insurance premiums in the past seven years.
Baysports in Athlone was hit with €102,000 bill in December, while their annual cover cost was only €7,800 in 2015.
Director Richie O'Hara says in the past five years, the water park has only paid out on one claim, but their premium continues to rise.
He says they pay over €10,000 per month, despite closing for seven months of the year:
