The best bars in the midlands have been revealed.
Leinster has secured 182 finalist places in this year's Square Bar of the Year awards.
In Westmeath, Peadars Bar in Moate is nominated for Local Bar of the Year, as well as Tourist Bar of the Year alongside Gertie Brownes Bar and Bistro.
Both bars are also shortlisted for Traditional Bar of the Year, with The Make & Mark in Laois also included.
This year’s People's Choice Award will take place on Monday, 24th August from the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road.
