A midlands TD has called them "model tenants".
A midlands couple will be facing into homelessness this Christmas, without a no-fault eviction ban.
That's according to Laois Offaly Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley, who says Laois' John and Marie are "model tenants."
He claims they were served with a notice to quit because the landlord is opting to sell the premises.
The Opposition is calling on the Government to reintroduce the eviction ban to tackle homelessness, and has tabled a bill in the Dáil tonight.
