Conal Dolan has won a 'Just in Time' award for saving a woman in Westmeath.
The sub aqua diver, who rescued a woman from the River Shannon in Westmeath, says he didn't hesitate to jump in.
Conal Dolan was on the Strand in Athlone in June last year when he noticed someone was in the water.
He will receive a 'Just in Time' award from Water Safety Ireland this evening.
Nine Gardaí from the midlands are also being recognised for saving two other people in the region.
