The National Lottery Good Causes Awards highlights groups that positively impact help their community.
A midlands community group has been nominated for a National Lottery 'Good Cause' Award.
The Laois Domestic Abuse Service will be in the Health & Wellbeing category of this year’s awards.
The service, is amongt 35 other organisations announced as finalists.
Each finalist will get a 1 thousand euro prize, with category winners to receive 10 thousand euro and the overall winner to scoop 25 grand.
The ceremony, taking place in Kildare next month, is highlighting groups that positively impact help their community with the help of National Lottery funding.
