Midlands Domestic Abuse Services Receive €130,000 In Funding

It's part of a €4.6 million fund announced by Justice Minister Helen McEntee.

Just under €130,000 is being allocated to the region's domestic abuse services. 

Offaly Domestic Violence Service will benefit to the tune of €47,000, with their counterparts in Laois and Westmeath receiving €42,500 and €40,000 respectively. 

It's part of a €4.6 million fund announced by Justice Minister Helen McEntee. 

The money will be used to provide support, information and advice on the rights of victims, as well as counselling services and court accompaniment.
