Six Projects will benefit under the scheme
Projects in Midlands will received €2m in funding in the latest round of Slaintecare grants announced by the Department of Health.
Individual allocations will be finalised following a six to eight week contracting process.
Projects awarded funding include a respiratory outreach and a cardiology initiative in Portlaoise, an advanced nurse practitioner for a diebeties facility in Tullamore and a sexual health service in Athlone IT.
In total €20m worth of grants will be decided in the coming weeks.
