The man, who said he doesn't believe in vaccines, had covid symptoms when he attended the clinic.
A midlands GP says she was forced to close down her practice last week after a covid positive patient gained access.
Dr. Deirdre Forde was working as a locum GP at an unnamed local clinic when an unvaccinated man, who concealed his covid symptoms, attended a consultation.
When asked, the man said he doesn't believe in vaccines.
As a precaution, Dr. Forde cancelled all appointments and shut down her clinic at Céile Medical in Athlone.
She says she's disgusted the man was so careless about putting others at risk:
