Maternity restrictions in Mullingar and Portlaoise have been updated to account for more emergency situations.
Partners may now attend Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit appointments and accompany their pregnant partner to routine appointments if the pregnancy is high risk or if an emergency room visit is needed.
