The Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar had the highest spend in the region at 30,600 euro.
Closely followed by Tullamore which racked up more than 27,000 euro in expenses.
While Portlaoise hospital spent 18,700 retriving money owed to them.
Cork University hospital paid out the most of any facility in Ireland - clocking up over 99,000 euro in fees.
Details were released under the Freedom of Information Act but a request for the total amount gathered was refused because the HSE says records of these figures do not exist.
