Westmeath's Olive Leavy and Offaly's John Butterfield are shortlisted in the Silvicultural Excellence & Innovation Award category as part of the Forest and Woodland Awards.
While advoacy group Laois Friends at Portlaoise's Rockview Walkways and Dysart's Carrigmeal Woods are nominated for the Community Woodland Award.
The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony at RDS in Dublin on Thursday, as part of the Finding Common Ground Festival.
