Abbeyleix Community Climate Action Project has been awarded the Supporting Sustainable Communities prize at the Chambers Ireland event.
The scheme was carried out in partnership between Abbeyleix Tidy Towns committee, Laois county council and science communicator Dr Niamh Shaw and included a weekly Abbeyleix Almanac on Facebook live, lectures and workshops.
