Carlow principal and podcaster Simon Lewis feels it should reflect a modern Ireland.

A Midlands school principal is calling for the education system to be more inclusive of children from other religious beliefs during Sacrament times.

Carlow Principal and podcaster Simon Lewis says he was inspired following a conversation with a psychologist.

Mr Lewis says times have changed since his time in the classroom, with his own child not making their Communion.

He says it should reflect a modern Ireland:
