Midlands Short Movie To Feature At Esteemed Film Festival

It was written and directed by a Laois woman.

A midlands director's film has been selected to appear at the acclaimed Tribeca Film Festival.

Bardo, which was written and directed by Laois woman Aisling Conroy, will be shown at the festival originally founded by Academy Award winner Robert De Niro.

The animated short film draws on themes of anxiety as well as the complexities of a modern, urban lifestyle. 

The film maker says that it is an honour to appear alongside some of the best film makers in the world:
