Green Party TD Neasa Hourigan says she'll back the motion on Wednesday, voting against the government and leaving it with a wafer-thin majority.
The Regional Group, which includes midlands TDs Cathal Berry, Denis Naughten and Peadar Toibin are 'assessing their options,' according to the Irish Times.
Labour is also supporting the motion and say if its defeated the party will put forward a bill to extend the ban.
