More Communication Needed Over Direct Provision In The Midlands

The Offaly councillor feels facilities in the area are not adequate.

More communication between the Department of Justice and local councils is necessary when facilitating direct provision in the midlands. 

Tullamore councillor Tony McCormack believes that refugees should be accommodated, but feels the facilities in place are inadequate to do so. 

He was commenting on speculation that a so-called ''strategic building'' in Tullamore is being designated as direct provision accommodation.
