Visiting on critical and compassionate grounds will continue to be permitted, and currently maternity services and paediatrics are unaffected.
People attending the hospital are also being asked to wear face masks.
The hospital is reminding people of alternative options in non-emergencies, such as the GP, pharmacies and local injury units.
Patients who require urgent care will be prioritised.
