Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity.
Gardaí in Laois are appealing for information following a number of burglaries last night.
Rock NS, Ballyfin NS, a vacant house in Ballyharmon in Arles, and a pharmacy on the Mountmellick Road in Portlaoise were all targeted between 8 and 11pm.
It is not yet known if the break-ins are connected.
Gardaí are asking anyone who passed through these areas, saw suspicious persons or vehicles, or have dash cam footage to contact Portlaoise Garda Station.
