Offaly Community Group Points Finger At Renewable Energy Operators Over Road Damage

The roads are the village's main issue.

An Offaly development group is calling for basic infrastructure to be implemented in order to fix roads.

A survey by the Rhode Development Group identified roads as the village's main issue, along with parking and community spaces.

This comes as the Tidy Towns group develops a biodiversity plan supported by the Yellow River Wind Farm community benefit fund.

Ross McCann, a member of the group, says the community needs better compensation for the damage caused by large scale infrastructure projects:
