An Offaly Councillor is calling on the ESB to clarify whether it will submit a new planning application for its power plant at Shannonbridge.
Fianna Fail's Eamonn Dooley also says it would be an environmental disaster to leave the peat already produced for the facility lying in bogs.
The
ESB says it's continuing to assess options for the development of West Offaly Power.
